Quentin Richardson Joins Orlando Magic is a copyrighted article from the World Correspondents
The Orlando Magic of the National Basketball Association has reportedly agreed to a deal with former Miami Heat starting forward Quentin Richardson. The offer is for a multi-year contract according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports. There is speculation that the Magic will not re-sign last year’s Magic starting forward Matt Barnes in the 2011 NBA season. Richardson is expected to take Barnes’ starting role and should fit well in the Magic rotation. He would be a welcome addition to the Magic lineup with his outside shooting as he had a career high of 39.7 percent from the three-point line.
Quentin Richardson is the 18th overall pick of the Los Angeles Clipper in the NBA 2000 season. He had averages of 8.9 points and 4.9 rebounds with the Heat last year, slightly down from his career averages of 11.2 points and 5.0 rebounds.
Terms of the deal have not been disclosed yet.
