Dwight Howard scored 30 points and grabbed 17 rebounds as the Orlando Magic won 99-95 against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday. Coming into the game with a 57.9 shooting clip from the free throw line, Howard surprisingly made 14 of 19 free throws.

Ryan Anderson, Jason Richardson and Jameer Nelson each had 12 points for the Magic. Hedo Turkoglu had 10 points as all Magic starters finished with double-digit scores. JJ Redick had 13 points off the bench.

Lou Williams led the Sixers with 23 points off the bench. Andre Iguodala finished with 21 points and 8 assists. Jodie Meeks had 17 points while Elton Brand finished with 12 points.

An 8-0 run by Philadelphia capped by a basket by Thaddueus Young tied the score at 77-all with eight minutes to play in the fourth quarter. Three-point shots by Redick, Richardson and Anderson gave Orlando a nine-point advantage, 86-80.

Redick scored five straight points in the final two and half minutes to give Orlando a 90-83 lead with 1:49 left in the game. Philadelphia threatened at 90-87 with one minute to play.

Orlando poured it on in the final minute as Howard converted all three free throws and Richardson made two for two from the line to keep the Sixers at bay.
